Imagine held the Upper School Awards Ceremony on Friday, January 11, 2018. The Upper School Awards Ceremony recognizes the accomplishments of MYP students. The parents of the students are invited to attend and witness the ceremony. The awards are given by the MYP teachers and acknowledge students who exemplify the traits of the Approaches to Learning (ATLs).

The Awards Ceremony takes place at the end of each semester and takes into account the work done from that semester. Several awards are given. They include the Sixes and Sevens Award (given when your grades are comprised of sixes and sevens) and the ATL awards. The ATL award recipients are chosen by their teachers. Two awards were recently added, commending students who demonstrated excellence in character.

These awards encourage students to perform their best academically and challenge the students to exhibit the IB Learner Profiles and Approaches to Learning. Parents are motivated to challenge their children to go beyond their limits, meet their academic goals, and to become a well-rounded individual. We look forward to celebrating the achievements at the next Awards Ceremony.
