The New York Times posted a recipe for an easy pasta lunch. My sister recently tried replicating this recipe.
To my surprise (and delight), the pasta was not only aesthetically pleasing, but enjoyable for my taste buds. Coupled with Parmesan and freshly squeezed lemon juice, the pasta was enriched with sweet Italian sausage and bell peppers. Each ingredient stood out, yet was able to blend together, creating a unique flavor. Although the Parmesan was a little overwhelming at times, the sourness of the lemon juice helped tone down the saltiness and creaminess of the cheese.
This recipe is great for beginner cooks, creating a simple yet satisfying meal.
