6th Grade
February 3, 2019

Every year, the 5th graders choose a historical figure that inspires them and do a presentation about it. Their job is to research, write an essay, and perform a speech based on their life experiences.

This year, there were very interesting people including J.K Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books, Stephen Hawking, a theoretical physicist and Walt Disney, the famous film producer we all know. This opportunity-filled event was held on February 7, 2019.

Along with the students, the new 5th grade teachers did a great job teaching the students how to speak loudly, memorize their speeches and make a wonderful poster and performance to share with us all. You could tell that the 5th graders were excited and well prepared because of their attention and information towards the audience.

Overall, I learned a lot during Wax Museum and the 5th graders did a good job.
